Mount Afadjato is Ghana's best-known peak, but the stronger visit includes Liati Wote and Tagbo Falls. The hike is manageable for active visitors, yet it is steep enough to require water, sensible shoes, and a guide.

Use the village as the anchor. Community guides help with routing, local context, and timing, while nearby food and lodging options are easier around Hohoe and Wli.

Local fit

  • Best for: hiking, views, active weekends.
  • Nearby: Liati Wote, Tagbo Falls, Wli Waterfalls.
  • Practical note: start early to avoid heat on the climb.
